We are looking for a driven, empathetic, and passionate Account Executive to bring on new customers.

We’re looking for an Account Executive who enjoys the journey just as much as arriving at the goal. If feed off of successful meetings, identifying pain points, and matching need to a real and valuable solution and have no problem navigating the food chain at large enterprise companies, we want to meet you!

 

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will…

  • Drive the full sales cycle from identifying new prospects to closing valuable customers for Tonkean.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term relationships.
  • Develop deep, long-lasting relationships with prospects.
  • Negotiate annual or multi-year enterprise software contracts.
  • Expertly position and communicate Tonkean’s vision, position, and value propositions.
  • Consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with SDRs & solution architects and other functions such as marketing, customer success, product, R&D, and more on the full customer lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience selling and prospecting in a B2B, enterprise software company.
  • Familiarity navigating complex sales cycles in mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Unbelievably friendly, conversational, and able to understand prospect needs.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong team player and self-starter.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, and thrives off of problem-solving.
  • Able to multi-task and adjust priorities on the fly.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an AE, sales, or similar role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Have a B.A. or similar degree.
  • Work well cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and other teams.
  • You’re driven. No one needs to push you to excel, it’s just who you are.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and perfect your work. You see out help and put it to good use.
  • You believe there is always a way to accomplish something.
