Our Response to the Log4j Security Vulnerability

Late last week Tonkean was alerted of the global security vulnerability known as Log4j that swept across the entire globe. Upon learning of this vulnerability, our development team pushed a fix to Tonkean’s environments on the afternoon of Friday, December 10th. While we’re still evaluating any upgrades to our infrastructure that might be needed (our databases, cache layers, event bus mechanism, etc.), our multi-layered architecture protects us from being exposed to any external attacks exploiting the Log4j vulnerability.

We have found no issues prior to or post-patch with any environments Tonkean is hosted on. No action is required from our clients, and we’ll keep you all alerted to any developments that may happen.

For any questions regarding this event, please contact our support team at support@tonkean.com.
